Smrity Bagga

Director & Owner

Smrity is a registered Occupational Therapist and for more than 20 years, she has worked across various positions within Community Health, Sub-Acute Care and Rehabilitation. She has a Master’s in Health Administration and for the past 10 years, has lead a team of highly skilled Allied Health Professionals who have provided care and planned successful discharge for patients requiring assistance following an acute medical illness, trauma or general age related decline.

Smrity is passionate about promoting independence and supporting people within their own environment. In 2016 Smrity developed and successfully rolled out Home Rehab for a major private Rehabilitation facility. This program helps patients to be discharged home directly from acute hospital care following hip or knee surgery and is supported by Allied Health teams within their own environment.

With the same passion and energy, she embarked on bringing Home Care Assistance to South East Melbourne, aiming to “change the way our community ages” because living at home is the best way to Live!

Khushi

Clinical Care Manager

As a dedicated Registered Nurse with seven years of clinical experience in Community, Aged Care, and Hospitals, Kushi is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care. She has honed her skills in patient-centered healthcare, chronic disease management, and holistic wellness.

As a Clinical Care Manager at Home Care Assistance, Kushi leads teams in providing exceptional home-based care solutions. Her focus is on ensuring personalised, evidence-based care that enhances the well-being and independence of clients in their own homes. She believes in empowering individuals and families through education, support, and quality services.

Sue

Employee Care Manager

Coming from an extensive human resources background, Sue is primarily responsible for screening and recruiting support workers in line with the organisation’s values and ethics. Sue also provides ongoing support and feedback to our support workers to ensure they have the most updated skills and knowledge to perform their jobs to the highest standards. She also ensures we operate within government regulations to ensure quality compliance. This important process offers peace of mind and confidence to our clients and their families.

Julia

Community Engagement Manager

Julia is our Community Engagement Manager, passionate about connecting with clients and creating meaningful experiences for the community. With a background in advertising and marketing, Julia thrives in conversations that spark engagement and build strong relationships. Her interest in psychology and human behaviour drives her commitment to fostering genuine connections.

Outside of work, Julia is a singer, often performing at local open mic nights. She has her own EP on Spotify (Boundary Road) and is a devoted animal lover, advocating for animal welfare and always ready to help with pet sitting in the local area.

Anita

Rostering Coordinator

Anita is passionate about providing exceptional care in the homecare industry, with a strong background in customer service, coaching, and team leadership in the health insurance sector. With years of experience in training and supporting teams, Anita excels at solving problems and ensuring clients receive top-quality service. Her time as a swim teacher has further developed her ability to connect with people of all ages and abilities through clear communication and personalised attention. Anita is committed to upholding values of diversity and inclusion, and she thrives when collaborating with individuals from all backgrounds.

Outside of work, Anita has a love for music and enjoys exploring the outdoors with a deep appreciation for nature. Anita is passionate about empowering others and creating a positive, supportive environment where everyone feels valued.

Angelica (Anji)

Service Administrator

Anji is a passionate nurse and experienced disability support worker with extensive experience both internationally and across Australia. She is known for delivering high-quality care while building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.

With a keen eye for detail, Anji excels in managing accounts, payments, and coordinating rosters, ensuring seamless operations. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex health needs and traumatic injuries.

Deeply committed to client well-being, Anji takes a holistic approach to care.

Outside of work, she loves travel, world history, and spending time at the beach with her dog, Keiko.

Meghan

Care Manager

Meghan has qualifications in aged care and a background in administration in the home care sector. She loves all things creative including recreation and leisure. In her role as a Care Manager, Meghan brings a positive and holistic approach to the care of her clients to live happier and healthier lives at home. She works closely with them to identify, motivate, and achieve their care goals.

Caitlyn

Care Manager

Caitlyn is a dedicated nurse with a wealth of experience in aged care, spanning across community care, residential aged care, and geriatric hospital wards. Transitioning to the role of HCP Care Manager, she is deeply committed to supporting seniors in maintaining a safe and comfortable lifestyle in their own homes.

Drawing from her extensive healthcare and community care background, Caitlyn possesses a strong grasp of personalized care requirements for her clients. She implements tailored strategies aimed at improving their quality of life and fostering independence.

Nikki

Care Manager

Nikki is the heart of our NDIS Care Management team, driven by her passion for supporting others. With a background in Psychology and Counselling, her journey through various roles in human services and resources has equipped her with a diverse skill set.

Nikki thrives on establishing meaningful connections with her clients, prioritizing personalized care plans that cater to their individual needs. A staunch advocate for those under her care, she is dedicated to ensuring that each client receives the support and attention they deserve.
